From Tuesday 11th June to Friday 14th June 2019, Tailor Maid Communications (TMC) hosted Paula’s Choice Senior Research & Education Manager Desiree Stordahl in Australia.
During Desiree’s time in Sydney, TMC re-introduced her to the Australian media and influencer landscape. Desiree’s visit was focused around launching the new brand campaign and communicating ‘Paula’s Truth’ while creating buzz around four new product launches.
The visit began with a media junket held across two days at Paramount Recreation Club, where top-tier Australian media including but not limited to BEAUTYcrew, ELLE, Marie Claire, The Australian Women’s Weekly and Vogue joined Desiree for face-to-face interviews followed by one-on-one skin consultations. Desiree also recorded an ‘In Her Bag’ segment for Mamamia’s You Beauty podcast.
Following this, TMC held an intimate influencer cocktail evening at Chin Chin in Surry Hills hosted by Desiree who introduced guests to the new brand campaign and provided a sneak peek of the latest products.
The guest list included key Australian beauty and lifestyle influencers and bloggers, and make-up artists. The relaxed and informal setting allowed Desiree to enjoy drinks and canapes with the attendees, strengthening relationships with the local blogger network whilst chatting all things skincare and educating guests on their personal skincare needs.
Overall, the visit was a huge success with excellent media, make-up artist, influencer and blogger attendance to both the media junket and influencer event, social media coverage flooded feeds during Desiree’s visit and multiple confirmed editorial features are due to be published across the next few months.
